• Assisted in optimizing the anti-prion compound SM875 by evaluating the effectiveness and toxicity of its analogues in reducing PrP levels in cellular models.

Project 2: Evaluation of Inhibitory Effects on SARS-CoV-2 Entry Using a Retroviral Vector

• Participated in a study to identify antiviral compounds that inhibit SARS-CoV-2 entry, employing a pseudotyped retroviral vector with the Spike protein and GFP as a reporter gene to screen and assess the efficacy of potential inhibitors.
